PT, DPT

Claire earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Columbia University, where she now continues her passion for education as an Adjunct Faculty Member. Teaching both the Pelvic Floor Elective and Pharmacology courses in Columbia’s DPT program, gives Claire the opportunity to fulfill her passion of mentoring the next generation of physical therapists. Her academic involvement ensures that she remains at the forefront of clinical research and education, directly benefiting her patients at Spruce.PT through the application of the latest evidence-based practices.

WCS

Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist

The Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) certification is awarded by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) to therapists who demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills in women's health. Claire's attainment of this certification underscores her expertise in treating complex pelvic floor dysfunctions, pregnancy and postpartum care, and pelvic pain syndromes. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by her prior role as Director of Clinical Education at a former pelvic health practice, where she oversaw the development of clinical programs and mentorship of staff.

Claire holds the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, reflecting her specialized training in pelvic rehabilitation for all genders. This certification signifies her proficiency in addressing pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, and pelvic floor coordination. Her holistic approach ensures that each patient receives comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist

As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, Claire is trained in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) for managing Lymphedema and related conditions. This expertise is particularly beneficial for patients experiencing swelling or lymphatic issues post-surgery or postpartum. Claire's ability to integrate lymphedema management into pelvic floor therapy provides a seamless and effective treatment experience.
