Please wear loose-fitting or activewear clothing to allow for exercise, stretching, and movement assessment. Every session includes an exercise component tailored to your condition. If you forget appropriate clothing, we’ll adapt the session to focus on other beneficial areas.

You do not need a prescription or referral to begin physical therapy with us. This allows you to start treatment and experience relief without delay. However, New York State law requires that after 10 visits or 30 days (whichever comes first), you must obtain a prescription from a licensed provider (MD, DO, NP, PA, Dentist, Podiatrist, or Midwife).
Please email the prescription to info@spruce.pt, text a photo to (212) 977-9760, or bring a physical copy to your appointment. If you don’t currently have a prescribing provider, we can refer you to one after your first visit.
